About Last Man Standing by Dean Young

Last Man Standing was initially a title for a song my wife had written about her father and she brought it to me to see if I’d like to record it. It was a great song but, was kind of a sad, introspective kind of song although I really liked the title. So I asked her permission to use just that instead and the song actually came together very quickly for me one day when I had some time between gigs while sitting outside in Brockville ON.
